Legal
Privacy Policy
This page explains the principles we are building to. The full legal policy will be published before launch.
Why this page looks different. Most early products publish a generic privacy policy written by a template. We would rather tell you plainly what we intend to do, and publish the full legal text once counsel and our regulators' requirements are settled.
Status of this policy
PayPartner is in development and is not yet operating as a live financial service. This page therefore describes our intentions rather than a final, legally binding policy. It will be replaced by the full policy before we accept real accounts.
This site itself collects only what you type into a form, and only if you choose to submit one. With no backend endpoint configured, the early-access and contact forms validate in your browser and do not transmit anything at all.
Our privacy principles
These are the commitments we intend to hold ourselves to:
- What we collect. Only what a service genuinely needs: identification details for verification, contact details for account access, and transaction records needed to operate the platform.
- Why we collect it. To verify your identity, to operate and secure the platform, to prevent fraud, and — where you have asked for it — to tell you about product updates.
- Who we share it with. Only the parties needed to make a service work: regulated partners you explicitly authorise, and infrastructure providers under contract. We do not sell personal information.
- How long we keep it. For as long as your account is open, and for the period afterwards that legal and regulatory obligations require.
- Your rights. Access, correction, deletion and portability of your personal information, subject to what we are legally required to retain.
- Your trust score. Derived from your own activity, visible to you, adjustable by disconnecting a connected institution, and never sold.
Questions
If you have a question about how we handle information, get in touch and we will answer it. The best place to start is our contact page.
